The School of Oregon Ballet Theatre will hold its annual placement auditions on Saturday, Aug. 5, by appointment, at the following times:
• 1:30 to 2 p.m.: Beginning/intermediate (students not yet en pointe who have up to four years of previous ballet instruction).
• 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Advanced (students working en pointe who have four or more years of previous ballet instruction).
Pre-ballet students do not need to audition.
Auditions will be at the School Of Oregon Ballet Theatre, 818 S.E. Sixth Ave. Candidates are asked to bring a resume, photo and $15 audition fee.

Scholarships are available for talented boy dancers.
The School of Oregon Ballet Theatre is the training ground for the Oregon Ballet Theatre company and for professional dance companies nationwide and abroad. Under the direction of Damara Bennett, the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre offers a comprehensive ballet curriculum for students ages 4 and older.
