Students who want to take Portland Community College classes online can sign up for courses in health care, business, design and technical and video game design and development.
The new online training courses are for individuals looking to switch career paths or obtain advanced training and certifications, and for first-time job seekers. The courses are all open enrollment and self-paced, and students are paired with a personal instructor. Online training courses take an average of 90 days to complete and provide training for entry-level positions.
The courses are provided online by Gatlin Education Services, the largest provider of Web-based, instructor-supported training to colleges and universities.
