The Oregon Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will hold a virtual business meeting on July 9, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT.

The meeting will be conducted via ZoomGov, and is open to the public, allowing for community engagement and input on civil rights issues.

The agenda includes a welcome and roll call, announcement of policy on equitable participation, presentation of project proposals, discussion of proposed topics, a vote on project topics, and public comment.

Members of the public can participate in the open comment period at the end of the meeting, providing an opportunity for local voices to be heard.

Written comments from the public are also accepted and must be submitted within 30 days following the meeting.

The meeting aims to discuss and possibly vote on proposed topics that could influence civil rights policies and discussions in Oregon.

Records and minutes from the meeting will be available to the public, ensuring transparency and ongoing community involvement.
