Established in 2010, Delta Authors on Tour is one of the sorority's signature events. It was developed to promote the literary talents of Delta authors within the sisterhood, from internationally recognized novelists to lesser-known voices. Each year, a tour stop is hosted by a selected chapter in each of the organization’s seven regions. This year, the Portland Alumnae Chapter was chosen to represent the Farwest Region, which covers Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
