Spring Break is just around the corner and folks are eager to travel. Many vacation destinations also require proof of vaccination and/or booster shots. Moda, the Portland Trail Blazers, OHSU and Multnomah County have got you covered by offering free shots and free Trail Blazers game tickets to everyone who gets vaccinated at the Moda Center on March 7. Pfizer and J&J shots will be available.

“We’re delighted to partner with our colleagues at the Portland Trail Blazers to welcome vaccination teams from OHSU and Multnomah County to the Moda Center,” says Dr. William Johnson, president of Moda Health. “As we all start looking forward now to Spring Break, it’s more important than ever for people to get fully vaccinated.”

This is a walk-in clinic with free parking. Everyone who receives a vaccination receives a free Trail Blazers ticket. Also, there will be prize drawings every 30 minutes, discounts on purchase of additional tickets, and Blaze and the stunt team will be performing. The clinic will take place on Monday, March 7, 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Moda Center on level P4 in the Rose Room with free parking in the Garden Garage.

"The best way to feel confident around your friends and family is to wear your mask and be fully vaccinated,” said Dr. Donn Spight, professor of surgery and Co-chair of the OHSU Vaccine Equity Committee. “We are excited to support this easy and free family vaccination event that will make Spring Break safer for everyone."
