In July of this year, 30 of Portland’s leading jazz musicians gathered with 700 friends at Augustana Lutheran Church to raise close to $10,000 for the legal defense of those being separated from their children and imprisoned at the borders.

On Sunday, October 14, faith leaders, leading Portland musicians and community leaders will host “Celebrate Sanctuary, Stand Up for Your Neighbor,” a benefit concert to defeat Ballot Measure 105 and uphold the 31-year-old anti-racial profiling and sanctuary status law.

The rally and benefit concert to defeat Measure 105 will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 2710 NE 14th Avenue in Portland.

Co-sponsors include Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon, CAUSA and many others.
