The Friday Night Activity at the Oregon Black Political Convention, "A Restless Season of Political Change," is designed for young people of the Oregon Black Community to conduct a meeting with candidates for public offices who are being nominated at the Oregon Primary Election in May.

"A Restless Season of Political Change" will begin Friday, April 6 at 7 p.m. and conclude on Sunday, April 8, at noon. The complete schedule can be found here: http://www.theskanner.com/images/stories/2018/April/oregon-black-political-convention-program-2018.pdf

Understanding the role of the citizen in politics is essential to change, and the OBPC gathering encourages young Black people to hold discussions on issues and concerns affecting them in Oregon.
