The arrival -- at last -- of sunny weather means we can finally start thinking about endless summer days.
Reading during the summer is a great way for kids to build a habit of reading while also maintaining achievement gains they made in the previous school year.
This year’s Summer Reading program offers kids prizes for participating, including tickets to a Portland Thorns game and a Trail Blazers preseason game. Participants who finish the program will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for a trip for four to Great Wolf Lodge waterpark! Babies, kids, and teens are all welcome to participate in Summer Reading. Come into any Multnomah County Library branch to sign up.
