Know Your City is soliciting submissions from illustrators and writers for Oregon History Comics, Second Edition. As we continue organizing for equity, inclusion, and social justice, we aspire to provide platforms for creative expression that represent the beautiful diversity of our community.

To ensure all people have a fair chance to participate, Know Your City is specifically announcing a call for artists from a broad range of identities, including but not limited to, gender identity, race, and ability. If you are a person of color or identify with another underrepresented identity, fill out this submission form or email ask@knowyourcity.org for more information on applying.

Oregon History Comics Artist Submissions will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis until the submission deadline of Wednesday, August 31st (Midnight). Space cannot be guaranteed for all submissions. Featured artists will be selected and notified Friday, September 16th.

Our second opportunity is Youth Voices. Youth Voices is a ten part comic series that will focus on highlighting the challenges facing youth within the communities of Washington, Clackamas, and Multnomah County. Youth between 12 and 24 are encouraged to apply through this link.
