An Interfaith Service for Peace (in our nation and world) will be held Sunday evening, July 10 at 6:00 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church.

The service will be a call to our community and nation to end the violence we have experienced in Louisiana, Minnesota and Texas and around the nation this past week, to lift up all the families and communities devastated by these tragedies , to call for real gun control legislation in Oregon and the U.S. and for real community policing.

It includes the moral call for all of us to admit the wrongs of our past in America, and to re-commit ourselves to weave the beloved community, celebrating the gifts of our diversity and ensuring that all have life, and all can go home to their families at night.
