Watch the classic Oregon Public Broadcasting documentary, “Local Color,” free of charge at Legacy Health, Feb. 13, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.; and Feb. 18, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Legacy Emanuel’s Lorenzen Conference Center Auditorium, 2801 N Gantenbein Ave., Portland.

The documentary chronicles the history of African American in Oregon, including the fight for civil rights and equality by both black and white citizens. It inspires and encourages us all as we watch the community unite and take a stand to bring about important changes.

It’s a moving story of people, both black and white, who worked for civil rights, there are also moments of inspiration and courage as people take a stand to bring about important change for their community.
