Poll: Most California Ethnic Voters Welcome Health Reform

88 percent of Black voters and two-thirds of Koreans and Latinos support Affordable Care Act

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Health care reform -- enshrined in the 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA) -- enjoys widespread support in California among African American voters (88 percent) and about two-thirds of Korean and Latino voters support the law, according to a Field Poll voters released this week.

Survey: 17 Percent of High Schoolers Drink, Smoke, Use Drugs During School Day

86 percent of students say they know the 2.8 million who are abusing substances during the day

(CNN) -- About 17% of American high school students drink, smoke or use drugs during the school day, a new survey by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University says.
