Nonprofit Offers Free Classes for Caregivers of Mentally Ill

Are you a parent or caregiver of a child experiencing mental illness or other behavioral problems? The Multnomah chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will be holding free classes to teach the basics of effectively dealing with people diagnosed with mental health problems.

Almost one-third of breast cancer cases worldwide could be prevented if women maintained a healthy weight and became more physically active. That's according to research presented at the European Breast Cancer Conference. Data for the report came from the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer.

Influenza virus is spread by droplets from coughs and sneezes. Studies have shown that flu viruses can survive on hard surfaces and can infect a person from two and eight hours after being left on items like cafeteria tables, door handles and airplane trays.
