More than 1,000,000 students have attended Mt. Hood Community College since the college opened in 1966. Chances are, most employers in the metro area have Mt. Hood community college graduates on their staff or among their family members.

A world of possibility awaits you when you sign up for classes – in everything from Administrative Office Professional to Zoology. In between that alphabet soup of opportunity, you will also find more than 80 other programs, including popular career starters, such as:  Automotive Technology, Computers and Integrated Media. Mt. Hood also offers stellar programs in Cosmetology, Fisheries, Funeral Service, Nursing, Allied Health and much more.

Most of the college's programs will land you a two-year degree. And in some cases, you can invest just a few months and earn a certificate that will get you into the workforce faster, as well as giving you a stepping stone toward your associate's degree.

Mt. Hood takes care of the whole student, with recreational activities that include, amazing indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a planetarium, hiking trails, student clubs, competitive sports and an active student government.
