Trimet Awards $110 Million in Contracts to Disadvantaged Women and Minority Firms

Almost 24 percent of construction jobs on the project went to minority workers

Neil McFarlane, TriMet's general manager said that more than $110 million in contracts have been awarded to 108 firms owned by people of color and women, on the Portland-Milwaukie light rail transit project.
