Metro is inviting bids for Structured Cabling: Category 6 and Fiber Optic Projects, Upgrades, and Maintenance at its solid waste transfer stations.
Electronic proposals only are due no later than May 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm to http://bidlocker.us/a/oregonmetro/BidLocker.
Metro is the process of planning multiple camera system deployments at Metro Central Transfer Station and Metro South Transfer Station, along with a new Point of Sale scale house system among other small to medium sized projects. As part of these projects, existing low voltage cabling and fiber optic infrastructure will need to be upgraded. Metro will award contracts to up to 3 (three) contractors to help complete the initial project effort, along with ongoing on-call work as needed. The contracts will include future cabling and fiber projects as well.
Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from Bid Locker (http://bidlocker.us). Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time online in a Zoom meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84974841108
Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
Metro extends equal opportunity to all persons and specifically encourages minority, women-owned, emerging small businesses and service-disabled veteran owned businesses to access and participate in this and all Metro projects, programs and services. Metro and its contractors will not discriminate against any person(s), employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, political affiliation or marital status.
