Muffin Batiste, owner of popular catering firm Le Sous Chef, will serve up lessons and insight for the third installment of Black Entrepreneurs of Clark County's Sweaty Equity Series, a quarterly program featuring successful businesspeople with lessons to share.
The free session, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the Jim Parsley Community Center, 4100 Plomondon St., in Vancouver, Wash., will feature candid discussions and opportunities to connect with other business owners, veteran executives and emerging leaders.
Batiste, a Paris-trained culinary expert whose company offers catering and personal-chef services to a growing list of prominent clients, will reflect on the food industry and answer questions about entrepreneurship and business instincts. Her company is online at www.lesouschef.com.
Black Entrepreneurs of Clark County, a free monthly business roundtable and networking group, works to expand empowerment and close opportunity gaps through advocacy, contacts, fellowship and the exchange of expertise and ideas. Services also include a mentorship program for entrepreneurs, executives and emerging leaders. All are welcome regardless of race, residence or venture.
Please RSVP to Shareefah Abdullah, president of Hot Ovations Communications Coaching & Training Co., at 360-604-8583 or shareefah@hotovations.com by Monday, July 24, to ensure seating and materials.
