Advertisement for: Roosevelt High School Modernization Bid Package #2

Lease Crutcher Lewis, LLC, serving as the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) on the Roosevelt High School Modernization Project for Portland Public Schools (PPS) is soliciting proposals from qualified Building Demolition, Selective Demolition/Abatement, Waterproofing/Damproofing, Masonry, Structural Steel, Roofing, Drywall, and Elevator Subcontractors for the construction of the Roosevelt High School Modernization Project in Portland, Oregon. Terms and conditions of the proposal are outlined in Lease Crutcher Lewis, LLC (CM/GC)

“Invitation to Bid”, dated June 29, 2015, attached to and made a part of the Contract Documents.

Proposals will be received at the offices of Lease Crutcher Lewis, LLC, (CM/GC), 550 SW 12th Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97205, until 2:00 P.M. PST, July 20, 2015 at which time the proposals will be opened with a PPS representative present.

Facsimile and e-mailed bids will be permitted (written confirmation with original bid shall be submitted no later than 3 working days from date of bid opening). Fax to 503.223.2874 or e-mail to roosevelt@lewisbuilds.com. Proposals shall be clearly marked “Roosevelt High School Modernization Bid Package #2 – Bid Package #2.0X:___________________”.

The total building construction cost is projected to be approximately $70 Million. The scope of work bidding at this time includes areas of building demolition and selective demolition / abatement to the extents indicated in the Contract Documents. Building Demolition and Selective Demolition / Abatement activities being bid at this time will include the existing Cafeteria, South end of the existing Music / Library Building, existing Shop Building, and existing 1921 Main Building. Complete packages bidding include below grade waterproofing / damproofing, CMU / CMU Veneer, Structural Steel / Misc. Metals, Membrane Roofing / Asphalt Shingles / Insulation, Drywall / Metal Framing / Sheathing / Weather Barriers / Fireproofing / Insulation / ACT, and Elevators / Lifts.

Lewis is currently only soliciting bids on Bid Package #2 for the scopes described above.

The Project Site is located at, 6941 N. Central Street, Portland, OR.

A pre-bid walk will be held at the project site on July 6, 2015 @ 10:00 AM at the project site. Proposers shall meet at the front entrance to the school off of N. Central Street. The pre-bid walk will be non-mandatory.
