Urban Revitalization Flexible Services Contract

The Planning and Development Department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed proposals for Urban Revitalization Flexible Services

DEADLINE, NAME AND TITLE OF PERSON DESIGNATED FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS

Sealed proposals are due no later close of business., June 4th, 2012, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, RFP 12-2118.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

Metro intends to identify a pool of qualified contractors to provide technical services to support the Development Center’s urban revitalization efforts on an as-needed basis. Metro is seeking written proposals from qualified firms, consultants and specialists to work closely with Metro staff and to perform services in the following areas:

• Architectural services

• Restaurant/retail design and merchandizing

• Color consulting

• Branding and graphic design

• Restaurant/retail lighting design

• Restaurant/retail business management

• Business district marketing, organization, and event management

• Urban revitalization project management

Services provided through these contracts will support current projects of Metro as well as projects initiated in collaboration with local cities and counties located throughout the region.

Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
