The Oregon Zoo, a department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting proposals for Beer & Wine Supply at the Oregon Zoo.

Sealed proposals are due close of business Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Karen Slusarenko, RFP 13-2335.

Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms and distributors to provide beer and/or wine for the concert series, restaurant, special and catered events at the Oregon Zoo. After cutting in early spring, the Zoo will be requesting that these qualified firms and distributors provide a tasting of their products in order to make wine and beer selections. Selections made will be based on criteria including but not limited to price, taste, sustainability and marketability.

Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
