LEED Enhanced Commissioning Services

For Elephant Habitat Building at the Oregon Zoo

RFP 13-2177





The Oregon Zoo, a department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting proposals for LEED Enhanced Commissioning Services for the Elephant Habitat Building at the Oregon Zoo.



Sealed proposals are due close of business Thursday, August 30, 2012, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Sharon Stiffler, RFP 13-2177.



Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to perform the following: LEED Enhanced Commissioning Services (LEED EAc3) - Provide oversight of commissioning tasks related to LEED Energy and Atmosphere Prerequisite for the Elephant Habitat Building at the Oregon Zoo. Fundamental Commissioning will be performed by PAE Consulting Engineers.

A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012, 9:00 a.m. at the Oregon Zoo, in the Sunset Room located in the Cascade Grill inside the main entrance to the zoo (no admission or parking fee required). The address for the Oregon Zoo is 4001 SW Canyon Rd., Portland, OR 97221. Interested proposers are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.



Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
