Career Information Day Focuses on Minority Jobless

Mt. Olivet Baptist Church will be hosting the second annual “Career Information Day” from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 14 at Mt. Olivet Conference Room, 8501 N. Chautuaqua St.The event is organized in conjunction with the National Society of Black Engineers and features dozens of different professionals, from doctors and lawyers to engineers, pilots and small business owners.
The event is free and students are strongly encouraged to attend, as there will be information regarding summer jobs and internship opportunities.
