With New Seattle Office, Massive Monkeys Put Down Roots in International District

'We will use the space to help guide and develop young artists into leaders, continuing the tradition that was passed along to us'

After a very successful Kickstarter campaign, Storefronts Seattle announced that Seattle's Massive Monkees have raised $30,000 to support their arts programs for young people.

Kemba Shannon: Boldly Building Community Through Dance

The Kemba Shannon Dance Center trains aspiring professionals, as well as offers youth and adult classes

Shannon has performed on Broadway and toured the world with the likes of Celine Dion, Pink and Madonna for 20 years. Currently, she runs the Kemba Shannon Dance Center in the Kenton neighborhood.
