newsWarner Pacific College is holding a three part event titled "It's Bigger Than Hip-Hop: Community, Education, and Spirituality" as part of its 2nd Annual Diversity Lecture Series.

The series will feature prominent authors and scholars Marc Lamont Hill, Christopher Emdin and Rahiel Tesfamariam.

All the lectures will be held at the McGuire Auditorium. They are free and open to the public.

The schedule is as follows:

Marc Lamont Hill: "Hip-Hop's Influence on Society" Thursday, October 3, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.

Christopher Emdin: "Hip-Hop's Influence on Education" Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.

Rahiel Tesfamariam: "Hip-Hop's Influence on Spirituality" Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.
