Award-winning choir, The Greater Works Chorale, and founder DaNell Daymon, are again the sole choir from the West coast to compete in Verizon's "How Sweet the Sound" a televised nationwide search for the best gospel choir in America. The group won the event's People's Choice Award in 2012. The regional round will be held on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Fox theatre in Detroit, Mich. The choir has launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter.Com to raise money for travel and lodging expenses. Support their quest on Kickstarter by clicking here.
