REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Wilsonville Commuter Rail Restrooms & Driver Break Room Project, City of Wilsonville
The City of Wilsonville is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms to furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision for the construction of an 868 SF break room building for SMART drivers with a kitchenette, a mechanical room, two internally accessed ADA restrooms for drivers, two externally accessed ADA restrooms for the public, and moderate landscaping. The project will also include construction of a foundation and conduit for a separately procured piece of art work to be installed adjacent to the building. The selected contractor will need to coordinate special inspections and installation of security/locking systems with separately contracted service providers.
The City's purpose in using this process will be to determine the "lowest responsible bidder" for this project through an evaluation of the demonstrated ability to successfully complete public projects of similar size, scope (including experience with plumbing and sanitary sewer line installation), budget and schedule. Only those contractors that have been determined by the City as meeting the minimum pre-qualification requirements as outlined in this Statement of Qualifications will be invited to bid on this project. The estimated project cost is $$395,000 to $445,000.
NOTE: SUBMISSION OF THE STATE OF OREGON 'CONTRACTOR'S QUALIFICATION APPLICATION' IS UNSATISFACTORY. THE CITY HAS ADOPTED THE BASIC FORMAT AS OUTLINED HEREIN TO DETERMINE QUALIFICATION ON ITS PROJECTS.
