The documentary "Local Color" is now screening online for free.

The Oregon Public Broadcasting-produced documentary was released originally in 1991 and on DVD last year. Produced by longtime reporter Jon Tuttle, the film explores Portland's long history of open racism and discrimination against African Americans. It also looks into the rich cultural and business history that Black Portlanders had in the 20th Century as remembered by a good number of the people who lived it.
