If you've never heard of Caldera – the nonprofit arts organization that exposes about 10,000 underprivileged youth to photography, art, music, dance, writing and more – this Saturday's a good, charitable way to get acquainted.
Caldera and Joblab.com are collaborating for "Emerge," the official launch party for Joblab.com and a fund-raiser for the arts organization. Joblab is a new website providing resources for people looking for creative jobs. The event features highlights of local creatives including fashion from Sofada Clothing, photography by Dustin Rowley Photography, image branding from The Program Management, architecture by Bloc Design, illustration from Brenda Dunn, and lighting by Namuh Design.
The party will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 17 at Sandbox Studio, 420 N.E. 9th Ave. Light appetizers will be provided by Simpatica Catering and free beer from Ninkasi Brewing. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door – available at www.joblab.com. All proceeds benefit Caldera.
