The International Center for Traditional Childbearing hosts a Stand Against Racism Event in association with the YWCA, Friday, April 30, 2 –5 p.m., at their offices, 2823 North Rosa Parks Way, Portland.
Participants will be taking the SAR pledge, and enjoying refreshments, live music, speakers, video viewing and discussion.
ICTC joins over 2000 other participating sites nationally in hosting an event that builds awareness of racism and shows its commitment to eliminate racism by signing the YWCA's SAR pledge.
Join a discussion about contemporary forms of racism. Learn how racism effects infant mortality rates and creates health disparities. Find out about ICTC's grassroots work and how it extends nationally and internationally to eliminate health disparities and prevent infant mortality. This event is free of charge.
