CNN Contributor, author and CEO of a leading consulting company, Joshua DuBois will speak on faith in America at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at Augustana Lutheran Church, 2710 NE 14th Ave. in Portland.

DuBois is a leading voice on community partnerships, religion in the public square, and issues impacting African Americans.

He led the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships under President Obama and was called the President’s “Pastor-in-Chief” by TIME Magazine. In the White House he brought together community leaders from across the ideological spectrum to tackle the nation’s biggest challenges.

He is also CEO of a leading consulting company, Values Partnerships, frequent media commentator, and author of the bestselling book, “The President’s Devotional: The Daily Readings that Inspired President Obama,” a compilation of the devotional meditations he shared with the President and narratives of faith in public life.

Also attending will be Rev. Kip Banks, Senior Pastor of East Washington Heights Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Rev. Banks currently serves as the Director for Advocacy for the Progressive National Convention, which was founded by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
