Linda Collins has died. She was born on Oct. 7, 1954 in Portland, Ore. to Charles and Ida Mae Collins; she was the fifth of eight children.

She graduated from John Adams High School in 1973 and shortly thereafter relocated to Oakland, Calif. to live with her sister Rose Marie (Collins) Middleton.
While there, she met and married James Wilkins and they were married for over 23 years.
Linda was the proud mother of three children: Jamie, Christina and James Jr.
In her spare time Linda enjoyed cooking and watching movies.
After moving back to the Pacific Northwest she acquired an interest in gardening, interior decorating something she loved and enjoyed shopping for others.
Linda was a devoted mother and loved doting over her grandchildren: Elijah, Jada, Isis, Terry and Terryon.
Preceding her in death was her father: Charles Collins and her sister Rosie Marie (Collins) Middleton.
She leaves behind her mother: Ida Mae Collins; children: Jamie, Christina and James Jr.; grandchildren: Elijah, Jada, Isis, Terry and Terryon; siblings: Carolyn, Charlene, Lawrence, Michael (wife Rosie), Walter (wife Mary), Richard, Jasmine, Jamal, Justin, Tevin, Jalin, Paris and Gabriel; great nieces: Dedriana, Kendriana and a host of other family and friends.
