Gary Wayne Livingston Sr. was born on July 4, 1935 to Glen G. Livingston and Irene Livingston in Shelby, Mt.
This proud warrior and member of the Chippawa lost tribe of the Little Shellnation died on Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
He accomplished many things in life such as a finisher carpenter and for 47 years as a roof contractor who worked throughout the Metropolitan area. Gary was involved in also other various business interests; too many to name.
Gary believed in helping others. For many years he helped hundredths of people in the North and Northeast area.
Many admired him, because he was a true, hardworking, honest and loyal man. He not only provided and took care of his wife, children and family, but many people who he met and became friends with. He was someone we could all count on and just love for who he was inside and out.
Preceding him in death were his parents Glen G. Livingston and Irene LaPlant-Livingston; brother, Don Livingston; and son, Gary W. Livingston Jr.
Gary is survived by his wife: Laura Reece-Livingston; sons: Glen Livingston, Patrick Livingston, Labaron Murphy and Jim Smith; grandchildren: Michael Livingston (Cindy Vanderveer), Kelle Livingston, Angelica Keogh and Kesha Sunderland; numerous great-grandchildren and many many friends who will miss him dearly.
