Metro Parks and Environmental Services, a department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting proposals for the M. James Gleason Boat Ramp Parking Lot / Restroom Project - Design & Engineering.
Sealed proposals are due close of business Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Karen Slusarenko, RFP 12-2006.
Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to complete design and engineering of the parking lots, landscaping and restroom facilities. The site is located along mile 109.4 on the Columbia River and at 4325 Marine Drive.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232 in Room 270 on February 13, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Interested proposers and subconsultants are required to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements.

Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
