NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Farmer’s Irrigation District will hold a joint public hearing of its Board of Directors and its Public Contract Review Board regarding adoption of findings and a resolution supporting exemption of its Large Pipe Facilities Project – Farmers Canal Phases from the competitive bidding requirements pursuant to ORS 279C.335(1) on the 19th day of December, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Farmer’s Irrigation District Office located at 1985 Country Club Road, Hood River, Oregon 97031.The proposed resolution will adopt findings in support of a contracting exemption for the construction of the Large Pipe Facilities Project – Farmers Canal Phases and grant an exemption from competitive bidding requirements.
The public hearing will be held for the purpose of taking comments on the District’s draft findings and resolution described above. Copies of the draft findings and resolution are available at the Farmer’s Irrigation District Office during its regular business hours.
