The Chief Administrative Law Judge leads a group of 112 committed, energetic employees including 65 professional administrative law judges, which holds over 30,000 hearings a year. The OAH has a biennial budget of approximately $25.5 million. The Chief Administrative Law Judge is appointed by the Governor for a term of four years and is eligible for reappointment. This position is located in Salem, Oregon.
This position requires Graduation from an accredited law school with a J.D. degree AND active membership in the Oregon State Bar; AND Four years of experience in supervision or professional-level work related to complex service delivery systems. The salary is $81,120 to $119,460/year plus benefits.
