Sealed bids will be received by City of Camas Administrative Services, located at 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington, until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. Bids will then be opened and publicly read in the City Hall Council Chambers. Late bids will not be accepted. 

STATEMENT OF WORK 

This contract covers work to be performed at the existing Crown Park at 120 NE 17th Ave, Camas, WA 98607. The improvements include the addition of lighting, a picnic shelter, and a restroom building. It involves upgrading and adding several recreation facilities, such as an interactive water feature, sports court, and an inclusive playground. The project work includes but is not limited to: demolition of existing paving and equipment, new pathways, park signage and furnishings, an interactive water feature with natural elements, coordinating installation of a pre-manufactured restroom (restroom and equipment will be purchased by the City), playground equipment and picnic pavilion, Right of Way improvements, stormwater drainage piping, sanitary and water utility connections, planting and irrigation, grading and earthwork, and other related items.

Washington State Department of Labor and Industries Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project.

Print Image Quality Specs: For print ads requiring an image, please submit the image in as high-res as you can to Jerry Forster at Advertising@TheSkanner.com. We recommend at least 300dpi for best results in the printed newspaper.

ONLINE MEDIA

Online Image Quality Specs: For web-based ads, we recommend at least 72dpi for best viewing. Images and logos will be sized according to editorial discretion, based on the image orientation (width, height, etc.).

Online Ads will run seven days from first posting (although, 2, 3 and 4 week durations are available).

Image Format: For web, we recommend JPG format, although GIF or PNG may also be acceptable.

Payment Options: The Skanner News accepts PayPal for ads placed online. To pay for ads via other means (checks, credit cards, etc.), please contact accounting@theskanner.com.
