Housing Authority of Washington County

The Housing Authority Board will hold a public hearing to hear and discuss public comments on the Housing Authority’s proposed Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2018 on:

Tuesday, April 3, 2018, 10:00 A.M.
Hillsboro Civic Center
150 E. Main Street Hillsboro, Oregon 97123

The meeting room is accessible to people with mobility impairments. If interpretive services or special equipment is desired, please notify the Washington County Department of Housing Services by calling (503) 846–4777 at least seven days before the hearing.

Proposed PHA Plan documents and related information will be available for review and inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. at the Washington County Department of Housing Services, 111 NE Lincoln Street, Suite 200-L, Hillsboro, Oregon. You may also review the PHA Plan online at the following website address: http:://www.co.washington.or.us/Housing/PoliciesPlans/plans.cfm.

Ad Deadline: Print Ads must be ordered and paid for by 1:00 p.m. on Monday in order to make the deadline each week. The Skanner News comes out on Wednesdays. Ads in will run through the following Wednesday.

Print Image Quality Specs: For print ads requiring an image, please submit the image in as high-res as you can to Jerry Forster at Advertising@TheSkanner.com. We recommend at least 300dpi for best results in the printed newspaper.


Online Image Quality Specs: For web-based ads, we recommend at least 72dpi for best viewing. Images and logos will be sized according to editorial discretion, based on the image orientation (width, height, etc.).

Online Ads will run seven days from first posting (although, 2, 3 and 4 week durations are available).

Image Format: For web, we recommend JPG format, although GIF or PNG may also be acceptable.

Payment Options: The Skanner News accepts PayPal for ads placed online. To pay for ads via other means (checks, credit cards, etc.), please contact accounting@theskanner.com.

Ad Costs: To calculate the cost of your ad, please visit and fill out our online classified advertising form. There you can calculate your ad cost, and will be presented with a PayPal link to make Payment once you're satisfied.
