METRO Zoo Roof Replacements ITB 3352 Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby inviting sealed bids to replace several roofs areas at the Oregon Zoo. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., July 27, 2017 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3352. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary for the removal and replacement of the existing 8,500 s.f. of roof areas on the Commissary building, the existing 4,200 s.f. of roof areas on the Tree Tops building and the existing 6,000 s.f. of roof areas on the Administration building of the main Metro Oregon Zoo. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on June 23, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oregon Zoo, located at 4001 SW Canyon Rd. Portland, OR 97221, in the Cascade Crest Building – Lower Lobby. Admission to the Zoo is not required. Interested sub-contractors are also invited.
