Bids due and Bid Closing Date and Time: November 17, 2016 2:00 p.m.
Fiert Tier Subcontractor Disclosure due: Not later than November 17, 2016 4:00 p.m.
The City of Hillsboro seeks sealed bids from qualified firms able to provide:
Construction serves to provide an interior remodel of the Hillsboro Community Senior Center. Work includes the main kitchen remodel and expansion, relocation of the gift shop, remodel work to the lobby/lounge area modifications to the existing mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Interior work also includes new flooring, new painting and new casework.
There is no pre-qualification process for this ITB.
Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 3:00 p.m. on November 1, 2016 at the Hillsboro Community Senior Center 750 SE 8th Ave. Hillsboro, OR 97123
Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive.
Sealed bids will be received by Toni Plunkett, Program & Support Manager at Hillsboro Civic Center, 150 E. Main Street - Fifth Floor Reception Desk, Hillsboro, OR 97123. A public bid opening will be held at this location at 2:15. Questions anout this ITB may be directed to the Contact:

The project described in this ITB is being funded in whole or in part with funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Washington County Office of Community Development CDBG program, Minority business enterprises(MBE) and women business enterprises (WBE) contractors and Section 3 businessess are encouraged to submit a bid.
This project is a public work subject to the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq), Federal Department of Labor Prevailing Wages, as well as State of Oregon Revised Statute 279c.800 through ORS 279c.870. Contractor shall pay the higher of the applicable state or Federal prevailing rate of wage.

Online Image Quality Specs: For web-based ads, we recommend at least 72dpi for best viewing. Images and logos will be sized according to editorial discretion, based on the image orientation (width, height, etc.).

Online Ads will run seven days from first posting (although, 2, 3 and 4 week durations are available).

Image Format: For web, we recommend JPG format, although GIF or PNG may also be acceptable.

Payment Options: The Skanner News accepts PayPal for ads placed online. To pay for ads via other means (checks, credit cards, etc.), please contact accounting@theskanner.com.

Ad Costs: To calculate the cost of your ad, please visit and fill out our online classified advertising form. There you can calculate your ad cost, and will be presented with a PayPal link to make Payment once you're satisfied.
