Bestselling author Walter Mosley will read from his upcoming book, "Known to Evil," from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 2 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Microsoft Auditorium, Level 1.
The program is free and open to the public. Tickets and reservations are not required. Limited parking in the Central Library garage is available for a $5 special event rate. The Library will close at its regular Friday time of 6 p.m. and will reopen at the Fourth Avenue entrance at 6:30 p.m. for this event.
"Known to Evil" is the second novel in the Leonid McGill mystery series. The book continues the adventures of Manhattan private investigator Leonid McGill, who walks in on a murder scene while working on a case and ends up as NYPD's prime suspect.
Mosley's work has been published in 21 languages and has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Nation and other publications. Mosley has won numerous awards, including a Grammy, an O. Henry Award and PEN America's Lifetime Achievement Award. His book "Devil in a Blue Dress" was made into a feature film. Mosley lives in New York.
